NEVER HAVE I EVER will star a nerd who has a short temper, propensity for being extra, and is just absolutely focused on achieving the goal of losing her virginity. Our heroine is a nerd played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Devi, and is Indian American. Kudos to Netflix for featuring another movie with a POC main character!

The coming-of-age comedy of this modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl is created by executive producer Mindy Kaling, with Lang Fisher serving as executive producer, showrunner and writer.

The series will launch on April 27, 2020
